Required skills and experience
- Experience in operating web applications using Linux/Unix
- Experience in development, design, and operation using cloud services such as GCP and AWS
- Experience in software development, design, and operation using Go, Python, Java, etc.
- Basic knowledge of databases (RDBMS and NoSQL)
- Experience using and operating infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience in setting up and operating monitoring using Datadog, NewRelic, Prometheus, etc.
- Basic knowledge about SRE
Experience and skills welcomed
- Experience in developing and operating microservices
- Experience using and operating a container environment using Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience in operating large-scale services
- Experience implementing and improving SRE practices such as SLI/SLO, incident management, and postmortems
- Project or engineering organization management experience
