I'm not certified in any AWS certifications, but I was recognized as an AWS Community Builder. (For STG verification)

#SRGThe Service Reliability Group primarily provides comprehensive support for the infrastructure surrounding our media services, focusing on improving existing services, launching new ones, and contributing to open-source software (OSS).
This article is a reflection on what I did to become certified as an AWS community builder.
What is an AWS Community Builder?
AWS Community Builders is a developer community program offered by AWS worldwide.
Applications are accepted every January, and certification is granted after an AWS review process.
The AWS Community Builders Program provides technical resources, education, and networking opportunities to AWS tech enthusiasts and emerging thought leaders who are passionate about sharing knowledge and collaborating with the tech community.

The application form included roughly the following items:
- My past experience building things using AWS services, and what I learned along the way.
- External output over the past year
Additionally, AWS Community Builders has categories, and you can choose which category to apply under when submitting your application.

External output over one year
The application form only allowed me to attach five URLs, but in my case, the output over the past year was as follows:
My only output related to AWS was through blog posts.
Thankfully, some of my blog posts were featured in Hatena Bookmark's Hot Entries and reposted on X, allowing many people to read them.
As a result of this output,What were the outcomes?I wrote my self-recommendation letter with this in mind.
In conclusion
After applying in January, I received notification of my certification in early March under Category:Data.
I'm so happy that my ongoing output activities have been recognized!
This year, I will continue writing articles about databases and also increase my speaking engagements to contribute to the AWS community. Thank you for your support!
