Graviton4 (r8g) long-awaited reserved instances

On-demand provisioning of Graviton4 (r8g) instances for Aurora MySQL began in the Tokyo region on March 14, 2025, but reserved instances were not yet available in any regions, including North America.

Conclusion

We are very happy to announce that we are now offering Reserved Instances for Aurora MySQL Graviton4 (r8g) instances.
I plan to carry out some calculations in the environment I am in charge of, so I would like to actively consider Graviton 4.
However, it is not available in Aurora MySQL LTS v3.04, so I am wondering what to do...
