I didn't have any AWS certifications, but I got certified by AWS community builders.
This is Onkai Yuta (@fat47) from the Service Reliability Group (SRG) of the Media Headquarters.
#SRG(Service Reliability Group) is a group that mainly provides cross-sectional support for the infrastructure of our media services, improving existing services, launching new ones, and contributing to OSS.
This article is a look back at what I did before becoming certified as an AWS community builder.
We were certified in March of this year, but we've now written a new article about it since we were added to the Community Builders list.
What are AWS community builders?
AWS Community Builders is a developer community program offered by AWS worldwide.
Applications are accepted every January, and certification can be obtained after passing an AWS review.
The AWS Community Builders Program provides technical resources, education, and networking opportunities for AWS technology enthusiasts and emerging thought leaders who are passionate about sharing knowledge and engaging with the technical community.
Once approved, you will be included in the public list below.

- External output for the past year
AWS community builders also has categories, and you can choose which category to apply in when applying.

External output for one year
The application form only allowed me to attach five URLs, but in my case, over the past year, I have received the following output:
My only output related to AWS in 2024 was blogging.
Thankfully, some of my blog posts were included in Hatena Bookmark's Hot Entries and were reposted by X, which led to many people reading them.
As a result of this output,What outcomes were there?I wrote my self-recommendation letter with the above points in mind.
Conclusion
After applying in January, I received notification of certification in Category:Data in early March.
I am very happy that the output activities I have been continuously doing have been recognized!
This year, I plan to continue writing articles about databases, and contribute to the AWS community by giving more presentations. Thank you for your support!
